My second card for today is a Happy New Year card. I have made this to send to my friend in Finland as I never got around to sending her a Christmas card :-(.

The image on this card was a freebie from Papercreator,its such a lovely set and all I have done is to add a few peel offs as I felt it was nice as it was,apart from glittering the fizz coming out of the bottle which the camera hasnt caught sorry about that.

New Baby

This time around my card is a rather large affair, hopefully I have an envelope big enough to fit it which has just occured to me lol.

A new baby card, a different theme for me as I haven't had to make one for a few years now. My brother and his girlfriend are due to have a little girl within the next few weeks,thought she was going to arrive on Boxing day but no she didnt want to put in an appearance,so I thought I would get sorted as I dont think its going to be long lol.

The Penguin March

Evening...

My first card for today is a stamped card using Penguin stamps from Joanna Sheen,I have to admit that I have had these stamps a while and havent used them which isnt good. For that reason I am so happy to have found all of the challenges on line as it makes me to use things I haven't and gives me a reason to make a card lol.

I decided to stamp the penguins in a line,looks like they are either on a march or waiting for a cuddle lol.

My first tag

This is the first tag that I have ever made and I really enjoyed doing it. 

I cut the tag out myself,im sure I have some tags somewhere but as normal I cant find it when I need it lol.

I inked the edges with a red ink pad,mat and layered it with pale gold pearlscent card and red Christmas card. The snowman image is  from a wonderful set called 'Tinsel Tots' decoupage which thankfully I love to do as some of the bits are fiddly to cut out but well worth the effort,these images always make me smile and i find myself going back to use them over and over again.

Winter Birthday

Evening....

My first card for today was made for a Winter Birthday. Both of my children have their birthday near Christmas and I found it impossible to buy special cards for them when they were little as Christmas had taken over everything. This is what got me really interested in cardmaking and the rest is a long story lol.

Another 8 x 8 card,I did try to do a 6 x 6 but I got stumped lol so I went back to my favourite lol.

My second card of the day is using a totally fab download from 'The papercreator',this image was part of a set which were at a fab discount price when I brought them the other day.

 I had terrible trouble choosing which one to use but in the end I went with this one which is called 'Noah's tire swing'.

Christmas Gift bag

Still on the Christmas theme but a small gift bag instead of a card. Made this one for my friend so I could put in a small gift and some pennies as the present I ordered for her 8 days ago still hasnt arrived!!!!!!!!!!

I mat and layered red card and patterned paper onto the front of a small gift bag. The image is from Mulberry Wood which I have layered onto green card. To finish off I added a bow with flowers and pearls.

Tis the season

Evening all,

My card for today is one that I have made for my brother and his two children,when I saw this image I could just see my brother and his two children doing this so I had to make this card for them.

A very simple card, i just mat and layered green card and pattern paper.

 I die cut a background for the decoupage image to sit on.

 I then layered that onto the green card to match and decorated with red gems.

 I added some lovely Christmas ribbon and I added a snowman button and a sentiment to finish the card off.

My second card for today is a rather cute teddy card.

To make this card I used a design sheet from La Pashe which came on a cd with the current issue of Cardmaking with your PC. I used an 8 x 8 kraft card blank,mat and layered the image and backing paper onto silver and red cardstock. I also used border peel offs,sentiment and peel off word. I also glittered all of the snow with Doodlebug glitter.
